RPO - NORM: working with naturally occurring radioactivity
This practice-oriented course is designed for employees working in the oil and gas industry, geothermal energy, or the construction sector. These industrial processes involve the release of naturally occurring radioactive substances. The English abbreviation NORM stands for Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials.

The RPO NORM course consists of 3 contact days, including the exam. The following working methods are applied:

Learning outcomes of the course
The course adheres to the standards of the course as set by the Dutch government. These standards can be found in Appendix 5.2, section F of the “regulation on basic safety standards for radiation protection [Dutch law]
